Visitors Page

If this is your first visit to us - welcome - even if the visit is a virtual one. Hopefully, the information in this section will encourage you to visit us in person.

Where we are

Our church is located in the centre of Dunstable almost in the middle of a car park. We're about 600 yards from the A5.  Our post code is LU6 3SW - so you'll find us on Google maps quite easily. In fact, we've done it for you. (click here)

From the town centre, turn up West Street (as if you were going towards Tring / Aylesbury) and just after the parade of shops take the first left - it's by the Police station. This road leads up to our church building and there's plenty of space to park! We've attached a sketch map for your use.

Car parking for the disabled is to the left of the building as you face it - although there is a parking bay at the front of the building which you could use or where you could drop somebody off.

If you need help - please let us know.

Our main church service times are:

Sunday Morning    10.30 am (a creche is provided for the under 5's)
Sunday School - during the service Year 1-Year 5 children

Sunday Evening     6.00 pm

What we do

As you walk in through the door, there is always somebody to greet you. Just go through the foyer into the main part of the building and take a seat. On the whole, our service tends to follow a traditional pattern of hymn singing, prayer and the preaching of God's Word. We use the New King James Version of the Bible, which is in modern English and our hymnbook is the new Christian Hymns. We also use a supplementary song book. Central to our services is the preaching of God's Word .

For the youngsters

During the part of the morning service when the preaching is taking place, a creche is available for little ones, and we also run a Sunday School for the not so little youngsters. These take place in the hall to the side of the church, so you children won't be far away, and we will always fetch you if there are any problems.

As a church, we have a child protection policy and all senior leaders of activities for children and young people are CRB checked.

Once a fortnight - alternating between morning and evening - we celebrate the Lord's Supper (where we remember Jesus' death for us on the cross, by sharing bread and wine together). This is a separate time which follows after the main service. Whilst this is aimed at Christians, who have been baptised, you would be welcome to stay to see what goes on.

Don't forget the coffee!

After most services, we take time out for tea or coffee. We'd love to get to know you a little - so please stay.

More Information

For further information about the Lord's Supper, being baptised, and what we believe generally - we have prepared what we call An Affirmation of Faith (link). Read this for yourself. It will tell you what we stand for and if you want to check out the Bible References - please do so.

Some of our members have written about themselves and their Christian faith. Read all about it in Our Stories

For people who are interested in knowing more, we run the Christianity Explored course and Christianity Explained course. This is a no pressure, no obligation, course designed to help you discover more about what the Christianity is all about.

Ask us when we are running the next one.

Do you have any Questions?

If you have any questions, contact us by an email or maybe telephone one of our church leaders-  see the contacts page for further information.
